- Email address and/or phone number when you contact us, submit an RFQ, or otherwise provide contact information
- RFQ details you submit, such as part number, quantity, urgency, and related request information
- Basic usage data, including page views and interactions
- IP address and browser/device information used for security, abuse prevention, and service operations
Information we do not intentionally collect
- Payment card information through the RFQ form
- Sensitive personal data through the RFQ form
- Final transaction terms or completed purchasing records unless you choose to provide them to us
How we use information
- Operate, secure, and improve MarketSignalIndex
- Respond to inquiries and quote requests
- Identify and contact potential suppliers who may be able to fulfill an RFQ
- Connect buyers and potential suppliers when a user asks us to do so
- Understand aggregate usage patterns
When we share RFQ information
If you submit an RFQ or ask us to connect you with a supplier, we may share the contact information and request details you provided with one or more potential suppliers for the purpose of responding to that request. Those suppliers are independent businesses and may use the information you provide to contact you about the requested hardware.
MarketSignalIndex may receive compensation from participating suppliers in connection with introductions, referrals, or resulting business. Compensation does not change the market-data methodology or make a supplier a verified or endorsed seller unless separately stated.
Service providers
We may use third-party hosting, analytics, database, security, and email providers to operate the service. These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide those services.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you have provided to us by contacting MarketSignalIndex. Information already shared with an independent supplier may also be subject to that supplier's own privacy practices.
